Where you visit:
Ephesus - Enter through the Magnesia Gate and begin a slow, downhill walk with your guide into the ruins of this Roman provincial capital. Your route takes you past the Odeum, the Celsus Library, the Temple of Hadrian, the Fountain of Trajan and the Great Theater. The Theater had seating for 25,000, was the site where St. Paul preached to the Ephesians, and is used today for a local spring festival.
Sirince Vilage - Sirince which is located 15 km (9 miles) up in the eastern mountains of Selcuk, is an old Greek village most famous with it's local wine and olive oil. It's one of the must see places in the region. You can reach Sirince either by taking a scheduled minibus from Selcuk bus station or by taking a taxi.. Oxygen rich Sirince has unique market usually busy with visitors especially on weekends. The architecture displays a good example of 19th century Anatolian style where houses are rather well preserved. The village has two 13th century Greek churhes both on the southern hill.
